This summer there are more options for campers than ever to enjoy the experience of camp at Covenant Point.  Browse our short descriptions below.  More info about each of our Summer Camps for 2016 is available by clicking on the camp heading.  Then be sure to start your registration online

Counselor N Training (CNT)  May 31-June 3, 2016
To start our summer, concurrent with Staff Training is our Counselor N Training program, responsible Sr. highs will learn from staff  thru service projects, team building and mock scenarios. Upon successful completion they may return as volunteers throughout the summer, Arrival starts at 10am on Tuesday. Plan to stay thru a celebration dinner with the staff Friday.

CRAZY CAMP June 5-10, 2016 
For those Entering 3 – 9 grades. Themed days will mix up the craziness! Some of the favorites have been Western Day, Christmas in July, and Backwards day. Final themes will be provided with the packing list. Campers will be grouped in cabins by age. Campers should be dropped off by 5pm on Sunday afternoon. Families are invited to a closing meal Friday, arrive by 5pm for a short program and cookout.

MID-HIGH CAMP June 12-17, 2016
Entering Grades 7 – 9. Tailored for this age of discovery with favorite activities like Romans and Christians and meaningful reflections on how to live & develop their faith. Campers should be dropped off by 5pm on Sunday afternoon. Families are invited to a closing cookout Friday, arrive by 5pm for a short program and meal.

FAMILY CAMP June 17-19, 2016 
This is your chance to experience archery with your kids or just slow down and enjoy quality time as a family. Bunk with friends, get your own family a cabin with AC, or full hook up of your own RV. Please plan to arrive around 5pm and depart by 2pm on Sunday.

ELEMENTARY ADVENTURE June 19-24,2016
Entering Grades 3 – 6 This is our entry level week long program. Campers will enjoy a memorable week exploring faith, fun, & friendships. Bible stories will be made fun with worship, crafts, games, swimming, canoeing, archery and music. Campers should arrive by 5pm Sunday afternoon. Parents are invited to a closing meal Friday. Arrive by 5pm for a program and family cookout!

*MOM/DAD ME (Try-It Camp) July 8-10, 2016 
For those entering K-3rd and designed for children who are experiencing camp for the first time. Parents, grandparents or other adult ‘family’ members get to be part of your child’s first overnight camp experience. Together you will participate in Bible study, worship, crafts, & games. Please plan to arrive by 5pm Friday and depart by 2pm on Sunday.
Forms need to be submitted to the Mid-America Disciples this year by April 15th for the best price.

SR. HIGH CAMP July 10-14, 2016
For those entering 9-12 grades and those requesting to still have some time as a camper and enjoy all that Covenant Point has meant to them. This will also be a time to meet and build new friendships and will include a traditional twilight swim time.  Camp starts at 7pm on Sunday, access to personal vehicles will be limited during camp for safety and camp will end at 7pm on Thursday evening.

*MAD CAMP July 18-23, 2016
For those entering 7-10 grades. Also advertised as Art, Drama, Music Camp.  In partnership with the Disciples of Christ Camps this week the youth will experience God thru Music, Arts and Drama.  Bring your instrument or favorite art tools and all of our gifts will be intertwined into the performance at the end of the week. Camp starts at 1pm on Monday, and camp will end before lunch with a performance for the parents at 10:30am on Saturday.  Registration will be thru the Mid-America Disciples of Christ Camps, send it in by April 20th for $300 or $325 after.

NIGHT OWL CAMP July 24-29, 2016
For those entering grades 5 – 9. Do you love to stay up late and sleep-in? Then Night Owl camp is for you! Come and enjoy camp with lots of night time activities, and then sleep-in! Campers should be dropped off at 7pm on Sunday afternoon. Families are invited to a meal and program at 6pm on Friday.
